Yes, tough to find, and pricey? well it depends on who you know. I gave away a few of these to a buddy last year… check out those links on ebay, they're rare and pricey since they are 50 years old

Yikes! I wish I had bagged the ones I saw in the vintage section at the u-pick. Hope they are still there.

Re: 1st gen hubcaps?
Damn Kooky Krispy! how did you find so many? I've been looking for a set myself. I made an impulse buy the other day and bought a set of 2 that are the painted white ones for $110 shipped, I like the white ones better, and from what I've heard and reaserched they are hard to find and pricy. To me it seemed fair, I also bought one chrome one a few weeks ago for $25.

Re: 1st gen hubcaps?
Just know they sell them new also. They sell them for the trucks. 1966 chevy trucks are the same. I bought a brand new chrome set on ebay that came with the chrome rings too but I'm not using the rings with the caps on the van. It was a private seller, but truck catalogs have them in white or chrome. Before I bought these I bought a complete set of the white ones that someone listed for the first gen vans. They did not fit my steel 14" rims. If any of our vans ever came with 13" rims the ones I have in storage are probably the ones to fit. I'm going to list them in the near future.

Re: 1st gen hubcaps?
Bensbus, my only lead for affordable ones is the u-pick it yard, 70 miles away. I'm going to paint them to match so as long as there aren't any holes or dents, pretty much any will work. What have you got?
