How different are these handles?

Saw these on eBay from several sellers, something new?, how different are they from the van handles? They are for Nova/Chevy II's:

They look the same at the button area, just a little sharper curve at the other end, is the bolt spacing the same, the inside mechanism looks the same? anyone ever try to adapt these? I do see the button side bolt hole is on the opposite side as the van handle, but couldn't a new hole be drilled in the door?

This is the hard part about finding what inter changes with GM parts. Contact the seller and see if you can return them if they don't work. Only way to know is buy them and try.
