Those loud mouths are just adding fuel to the fire and it might just come back to burn them!

Super Bowl Empty Re: Super Bowl

Post by BillyBlaze Mon Jan 20, 2014 11:41 pm

My 35 years of misery shall end this season!!

Been a Seahawks fan since they came out as a expansion team when I was a kid and we lived in the Pac NW.

A note on the whole tyraid thing Sherman went on. It goes back to last year when they were both at Larry Fitzgeralds football camp and Sherman went to shake his hand and Crabtree tried to start a fight with him (reported by John Clayton). There is a clip that was on espn from after the game last night when Sherman patted him on the but and stuck his hand out to shake Crabtree's hand and say good game who then gave Sherman a hand to the face mask and that is when Sherman went off. Clearly he should not have kept going on about it but Crabtree tried to start a fight back then and had since said in a interview that Sherman was a "average" DB which is why Sherman kept saying Crabtree was mediocre. So really the only difference between what was said is Crabtree said it in a mid week interview during the season and Sherman put it out there on live TV that had a huge viewing so for the however millions of ppl watching Sherman is the bad guy since they had no back story to the ongoing hate they both have for each other.

Sherman was also mic'd up for that game so soon as that comes out things should be clearer but obviously it was not a unprovoked attack by Sherman but he does talk a lot of trash.

The whole "you mad Bro?" thing he said to Brady after the game but again in the 4th quarter Brady made some comments to Sherman and then pointed to the scoreboard saying that The Pat's had the game in the bag but the Hawks came back to win in last last few seconds of the game so that comment was payback for Brady's trash talk and Brady knew he had it coming so that is why Brady didn't make a big fuss about it when he said it to him and he didn't start a twitter war like Crabtree did.

Anyways if all those people that were saying what a tool Sherman was for talking trash actually looked at the facts and knew that there was WAY more to it than just those comments (or if the only saw that when Sherman tried to shake his hand at the end of the game he got tagged in the face by Crabtree before Sherman went on his rant) they would probably see things from another angle. Not defending the way he handled it but he didn't just come out of the blue to say the things he said in fact Crabtree called him average before Sherman fired back with mediocre.  There are other times Sherman has talked trash but more times than not if you look what went on prior to him saying it he did not just go off on them for no reason. I grew up with Deon Sanders and TO talking shit or for you basketball fans Reggie Miller vs NY/Spike Lee anyone? So I kinda like it but those putting Sherman on blast seem to have forgotten some of their moments it would seem  hehe

Ya ya I know I just posted a wall of text that nobody on this forum prob cares about but I am a HUGE Hawk fan and just thought I would put that out there since if people actually looked at why he says the things he does rather than what he says only they may have a better understanding of who the guy is. Other than the best DB playing the game that is   Razz

Far as the SB goes it should be great!! the best O going against the best D and the best team from the AFC going head to head with the best NFC team. What more could a guy ask for in the big game. Other than snow since it is in NY and my boy BeastMode can run wild on the Broncos for 200 yrds. Dont think that will happen but a guy can hope can't he?

    LOL.

Losing my mind waiting 2 weeks for this game! Should be a great game to watch, the best O going against the best D and none of the crazy weather everyone was worried about.

    "Bout that action Boss..."

    Go Hawks!!

I found out yesterday that I will be working up in Vermont tonight and will have to listen to the game on the radio. Just NOT the same as pigging out on junk food in front of the TV. Oh well, at least I'm not missing the PATS, otherwise I would have been really upset...

Bummer Vanny cuz it should be a killer game. Your lucky you get to hear in on the radio man.

Being a Hawk fan normally we havent had a lot of games on the tv here in Central Cal and I used to listen to them streaming on the net but now the NFL makes you buy their program to even listen to the game which sucks for a fan that is to far away to go to the game or for the family that splurges the 1 G it costs to take a family of 4 to a game and then try and follow the team the rest of the seasonand save up for the next family outing.

    Rant over LOL

Seemed like the Broncos never recovered from the first play of the game. Seahawks kept the pressure on from the get-go. Manning has never been great when opponents are able to put pressure on him and the Seahawks were relentless yesterday. I listened to the game on the radio and it was kind of cool but I still wish it would have been a closer game. Congrats to all the Seahawks fans!!! Looks like they're gonna have a good team for a while!

Seahawks played their game plan and played it to the end, Congrats to them, Also Denver never even showed up, The Seahawk came to hit and Denver wanted no part of that. But like most every team that goes to the big game the free agents will want big paydays, And I understand that, I would to, But both teams salary this year is already over next years salary cap by a lot, So both teams will lose good players and they still end up paying drafted rookies to much money, that is why it's so hard to go back to back superbowls, Wouldn't we all like to get a job that pays big money for what we might do ???That's why i enjoy Drag racing , if you make a mistake you are on the trailer, and a small if any check,, altho that sport has problems just the same,, again congrats to the seahawks.
