    Hello all,
For those that have install a 200-4R transmission I need to know if I need to use a different speedometer cable or the stock one will work? Do I need to leave that 90 degree apparatus attached to the powerglide? I have already ordered the correct driven and drive gears for speedometer correction, but is there anything else I need for the speedometer to make it work right?
the 200-4R is not electronic, and it threads in to the Speedometer Sleeve that is at the tail drivers side.

If you have already addressed the drive, and driven gear ratios. The speedometer cable should hook right up to the threaded portion of the sleeve. IIRC

What your trans has is a 90 degree fitting at the trans the cable
Has a threaded collar that will remove from the fitting and will
Thread directly to the speedo drive on the 2004r. Hopes this helps

200-4R Transmision speedometer Question Empty 90" trans fitting

I was wondering the same thing. So it won't hurt to remove the 90" fitting and hook directly into the trans. Because my 90" fitting is leaking and would just like to delete it all together.
