This van was at Baker's last year, seen it up close. I thought it was the coolest van there. Just hope it makes it to Baker's this year

It's pretty cool and the design predates the Econoline by a couple years. You can see where some of the Econo's ideas were born. (like easily replaceable quarter panels.)

yes i have a plan on putting a inline 200 six in place of the little 49 horse powered 4 cylinder...i really wanted to keep it all original but it is not practical at all for any kind of long distance rides....also had a 1964 econoline c4 rebuilt for that swap as well....and hope to top it off with a mustang rear end to give me the gear ratio i want....

i found it in cali sitting in a garage for 34 years.....well preserved....i only had if for about year or two now....but i owned a 59 thames van before this one and i still have it for parts now....it was a singer service van i bought out of Nebraska and it is a us version as well...dix wrote:very cool, where did you find it ??? and how lond did you own it ???
