CONVOY to BAKERS

Calling all Northeasterners!

ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, NY,NJ, DE, PA, OH, MD, VA, WV, MA

I want to make the trip to Milford this year in June but would feel a lot better on the road with a CONVOY...

So far Rt. 80W is the desired route...
then maybe at Toledo , OH head north on 75 or 23.
Anyone know if Rt. 80 has any tolls or rescrictions?

Anyone interested in setting up road relay and join in points along the way?

That sounds like a great time. Rt 80 is a toll road across the top of Ohio. there are tolls but don't know how much it is to get from PA to Toledo. From where we live, we would be shooting due north and picking up 23 at the south side of Toledo. Let me know if this get some steam and we will try and meet the convoy at 23 if that is the route that you take.

If we are on Rt 80 west and get off at Exit 59 we pick up a few secondary roads to get onto Rt. 23 North in Ohio.
Namely Reynolds, Dussell Dr and Salisbury Rd.
These secondary roads must have a at least one decent truck stop, shopping mall, etc. to have a set rendezvous point. Maybe you can scope it out. Remember, the convoy may be pretty big by then.

So far The Route to Bakers includes a few stops and Rendezvous Points:

1) Start: Rt.195 and Rt.537 Jackson, NJ

2) RENDEZVOUS and Gas: Bloomsburg, PA Rt. 80 Exit 232 at the Columbia Mall Rt. 42

3) RENDEZVOUS and Gas: Milesburg, PA Rt. 80 Exit 158 at the Catherman's B&B Market on Gates Rd Rt. 150

4) RENDEZVOUS: Hubbard, OH Rt. 80 Exit 234B/Rt. 7 North at the Best Western on Commerce Drive
(overnite stay)?
GAS: Flying J Travel Plaza 2226 N. Main in Hubbard

5) RENDEZVOUS and GAS: Rt. 80 Exit 145 Elyria, OH Speedway Gas 899 Lorrain Blvd.

6) RENDEZVOUS and GAS: Rt. 80 Exit 56 Maumee, OH (just south of Toledo) to Rt. 23 North
Barney's Convenience Market 501 W. Dussell Dr. in Maumee

7) Final Stop: Milford, Michigan...BAKERS

Just a couple of notes I jotted down...please help
Time schedule to be forthcoming.....please add suggestions....locations, places of interest..
it's a long trip...
and besides, we have the way back...

I was kindof wondering if it was happening too.

We will not be going to Bakers.
Maybe next year for the convoy.
