I don't know how you guys do it, especially places like Alaska where its not only bruttaly cold but no sun for months....I would go insane....here in New England is bad enough with the winters...I'm at the age where a warmer clime is starting to look real inviting...

Re: Van work is=OVER!!
I used to tell my iron workers that there is heat in them tools if they were complaining about being cold on a job. Didn't make many friends that way.

Re: Van work is=OVER!!
Chester =WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very correct!! When i was age 40 - i decided to move from central texas- way too hot there. Love it here as there are 4 seperate seasons & as im getting older =cant do much all day anyways! So- I enjoy the new squeeze & the care she gives with the great asian foods =never any drive thru & quickie meals from her=makes all from scratch=always fresh & hot!!She actually wants to help me with the van & car work in spring & has already started same when we can outside. SAfter -all - when we get older -we're susposed to enjoy ourselves !! HeHe - Im surely doing that!!
Its 15F again thia AM & highs here wont see 40F till sunday+ High today is going to be =31F

Re: Van work is=OVER!!
Joe, My van is never put away ! We came from upstate N.Y. and had winters and summers to both extremes of temps. LAST job was in Malone N.Y. almost on the Canadian border and started on Dec. 10th. Will only go back in summer for weddings, funerals and van events. No one believes us when we tell them it gets hotter there in summer than here as we always have a cool breeze off the gulf.
