Re: Need Help
Just got the seats back in and weather is nice enough to get it out and drive it so will post an update today to see if the tranny fluid was the issue. That would be the only thing done to correct the situation other then checking the plugs and re-gapping them. Engine covers are off so will be able to watch it at stops to see if there is anything going on that was not able to be seen before hand. Let you know by end of day.

Re: Need Help
UPDATE:::: Have pulled tranny pan and resealed it. replaced the tranny fluid and now all is tight and non leaking. Drove the truck for over an hour today and engine did not even once get close to stalling like in the past. Truck was running like it did before the stalling issues cropped up, so I would say that the low transmission fluid level was causing the issue. The article I read said that the pressure difference against the pressure plate caused the tranny to pull the idle down on the engine if the fluid was not at the proper level.
Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions on what might be causing the problem. And hope this might help someone else that might come across this issue.
