Hi there all! I'm picking up a 64 this afternoon, so I'll be posting here as. I need to find things and have questions. I've been a vw guy for 25 years, but his is my first early domestic van.
If Iad a first question, itd be "who sells weather stripping for the doors"? JC Whitney?
I've been looking through the forum and found answers for the windshield. Gasket, disc brakes, and similar stuff.
Does the hei from the late 250 fit the 194-230?
Thanks to all for the help, diggin the pictures!

Thanks everyone. The istributer should be easy enough. I'll post in the wanted section for the little odds and ends. My phone has limited computing power and my typing is faster than it can handle, so occasionally I write like William Shatner talks and its immpossible to fix because the cursor won't move right. Bear with me.

I went and bought the van, it didn't run unless we poured gas down the carb, the stuff in the tank was just a little too far gone. I guess job one is clean the tank out. Job two is the water pump, hoses and a radiator check. Job three is dual circuit brakes, maybe do the disc swap at the same time. I see the bracket buy needs one more.
Then some body work before paint.
I make no apologies, this van will never be restored to new, it will be made funtional and enjoyed! I own a micro-distillery with my wife and wanted this for the advertising the van offers. Plus its way cool.
