So I got a rear bumper, a straight one without the license plate indent. 61-64 correct? I know it originally is a rear because it has two holes in it, along with the one hole on the underside on each side (so three holes on each side). I think they look cooler with both front and back bumpers straight. My problem is that I do not have brackets for the rear. Does anyone have any pictures of rear brackets? or know how they fit? or better yet does anyone have any for sale?! I found a set on eBay but they only have two mounting holes. I don't know if the rear brackets should have three mounting holes? I don't want to buy something wrong, obviously. Im 19 years old so Im still learning a lot about these vans. My dad had one when he was my age so when his friend knew of one by word of mouth, we got it. Its a '64 and needs some work, but nothing a bit of hard work can't take care of. If anyone could help me out, i would be thankful.

Re: Rear and Front Bumper Brackets?
NOPE!!
61 to 64 vans and pickups all used the pick up bumper WITH the license plate indent.
All 61 to 67 pick ups used the license plate indent bumper.
ALL 65 to 67 vans used the straight rear bumpers.. and the narrower front bumper than the 61 to 64's.
SO,, the question is do you have a van or a pick up?
It sounds like you have a 61 to 64 van with a 65 to 67 van rear bumper. IF you have a 61 to 64 van with that bumper, I have the 65 to 67 bumper brackets that you need.
ALSO, if you have the late bumper? how are you going to light up the license plate. The reason Ford changed the 65 to 67 vans to use that bumper was also that they now mounted the license plate on the left rear door. I have that light for the door also if you need it. PM me about the details if you are interested.

Also actually i have the left rear door light that the license plate goes to, although I was thinking about mounting up the license plate onto the rear bumper. Im not sure, still thinking of ideas. I will email you at that address.

Re: Rear and Front Bumper Brackets?
VERY EASY to tell,, ALL PRE 65'S, did NOT have an engine cross member but rather two sheet metal engine hangers. The 64 was the ONLY year to have two holes in the transmission hanger on the frame, of course also the same with the motor sheet metal engine hangers.
