I'm quite sure that they did, and to design it safely, so the drummers would not fall off of it when raised!! LOL I sure would enjoy seeing it in action. A great stage prop for sure!

It' like a self-contained stage, pretty nifty idea. IMHO, it's another Van saved from the scrap heap and given a second chance.

Here's a cheesy one.... That van rocks! but seriously thats pretty cool. It looks like a crane lifts it up. I dont see how it could be self contained. Pretty interesting design though.
