Re: 2nd gen Dodge gullwing door
not having the hardware does not help the sale,And i don't understand why there was holes all the way across the top , It should be 2 hindges with 2 holes each. a complete door would be a fair price.

2nd gen Dodgebgullwing door
THAT'S what they did G Man I used a piano style hinge on my steel side door on my 3rd GEN Chevy. they are the best and sturdiest set up. The hinge is a stainless and is available from any marina and they use them in the seats and live wells and are very strong mine has been on for 20 plus years and shows no wear or play at all.And the struts were of a 88 Camaro rear trunk (with wiper) heaver duty and are 40 inches long. I made the brackets with some angle iron.........

Re: 2nd gen Dodge gullwing door
so true on the ss hinge . The origional doors from j & J came with 2 hinged on each door-piano type held on with 2 bolts in each!! Yet as0 Joe states & used- the full lenght ss piano hinge is well better & worth the effort!1 I have seen some recent doors installed with some very nice looking "Billet" hinges -even here on this site!!
