    I have seen some people useing a aftermarket shifter in their vans with an automatic what are you useing and is there a problem with getting a long cable.Thanks for everybodies help,snow just about gone I can get at my van.Will be getting her home in a few weekspictures coming soon Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

    I like b&m stuff - had many in past there are some others on the market also. as for cables -u can get anylenght thats needed ,

    B&M it will have to be thanks guys off to their site.Is the 5ft cable long enough for the van confused

    There is a WIDE range of quality between the low end and high end shifters.
    Wait until you have mounted the shifter before you measure for the cable! It's not good to have a shifter in the wrong place just because you bought the cable first and can't put the shifter where it needs to be!

    anyone need any cables -go into the marine industry - wholesale end- look into a 3300 cable or a 33C cable =all are available in any lenght in 1 foot increments. many auto shifter sellers dont sell different lenght cables as we sometimes need.lso id advise getting a stainless cable too . Morse & teleflex are the main manfacturers of cables.Heres one ive used for past 40 years in texas.

    Thanks Rod and Twinpilot good advise and cable selections stainless is the best way to go get lots of snow here
