new gas tank needed

i was told someone on here was fixing/making tanks for my 65 a100 van? any help would be great

No one on here. They are hard to come by. If you find someone making them let us know.

there is a place in monticello iowa that makes tanks for street rod i got one of his universal tanks for my son's dune buggy very happy with service www.tanksinc .com 877 596 3842 they may to custom work it can be costly but so is a NOS tank

I thought my tank was trash until I used different methods to clean it and then sealed it. SO far so good. Whats wrong with the tank?

I did the 3 step POR-15 fuel tank sealer on my van. Worked like a charm. Had to JB weld a couple of pin holes the cleaning solution found and used a leaf blower to dry out the tank before the final coating applied by kicking the tank around the yard for 15 minutes. Let it cure for 3 days before you put gas in it and thats about it.

Alot of shops out there that do this service also and they can fix pretty bad tanks

well the tank went to the local rad shop. the acid bathed it. repaired it. red coated it and painted the ext of it. they needed to replace half the bottom of the tank. very happy at 150 dollars

sounds like a fair deal to me.

That's a good deal. My local shop wanted $90 just to boil it and coat it. Score!
