Barn find that I traded a Astro Van for. Tired engine was replaced with one from a cabin cruiser! Its a Evenrude 165. (otherwise known as a Chevy 250 inline 6, but with stainless steel valves and seats)I have built and owned 15 of these, but this is the first one I've built with no money. (Unemployed) Seats are from a Tahoe on its way to be scrapped cost me $40. Rear power reclining bench/bed came from GMC conversion van that was also being scrapped, Bought van for $100 stripped out stereo, wheels/tires, seats and the table for my van, then scrapped van for $255. so I made a profit on that part. Steering wheel is supposed to be for a golf cart found at a garage sale for $5.00. Sadly, the interior of the camper van was destroyed by water damage or it would still be in there.

Campin'fool, I am envious of that awning! Wish I could afford to have a replica made to fit my Chevy.campin'fool 2 wrote:Cool pictures, thanks!!

That one came with the camper when I bought it. However, I've seen some just like it on ebay. I can't find them now though...
Heres a better picture of it. I think it's 8x10 and it looks like your width dimentions may be different.
