making nerf bars

Dodgeman, just a helpful hint for the rear nerfs.
It's a LOT easier to cut two out, stack them and clamp them, sand the edges and drill the holes than to make one then try to make another the same!

yeah i thought of that i'll cut out the other one tomorrow then i'll stack them to drill the holes, with this being only 3/8'' thick there easy to make, havent done anything for the last three day with this flu,

Hey dodge man go for it and show off your nice van..Take pride in the work that you have done and not somebody elses work. Nothing worse that buying a show van or having a trailer queen and showing up and winning a trophy. Nothing better than a van show to see nice home grown customs like yours

I entered mine in the nats last year for the first time and was up against big $$$$ earlys, have fun, enjoy, and by all means walk around the show in shine and check out the other earlys. Dont worry about anything walking off from your van (maybe your cooler of beer) everybody is there to have a good time. Tons of good ideas you'll see there on other earlys. Wether you come in first or last remember JUST HAVE FUN

got it cut out from 3/8 stock aluminum finished the grinding, sanding and used a scotch brite pad, next i'll drill the size holes i want i'm thinking 4 or 6 holes would look good and then comes the polishing, and haave to do it all again for the other side,
