I became interested in the 1960s ford van back when I was 14 yrs old . My dad had one at the upholstery shop he owned . I got to drive it on the back roads of Hugo Oklahoma when I was 14 and 15 . When I was 16 he sold the van . I ask him if I could buy it but he wouldn't let me and sold it to somebody else . My dad passed away in 2003 but I still think about that van . I'm 40 now and I decided to get one to restore . Found a good deal on one . Hope everything works out and I'm able to get it . Just wanted to say hi and chime in just in case if I ask something on this site .

have not seen it yet . I've been dealing with the people over the phone since Christmas time . The guy that had it said it had no rust engine runs but burns oil and no damage . It is a pannel van with no windows on the sides and is the shorter van . Three speed on column v6 . He was going to bring pictures of it on a Saturday because he had family that lived in paris tx where I live . He didn't make it he had a stroke . After he got out of hospital I suppose to go up and meet him on a weekend and he had another stroke and passed away in the hospital a couple weeks ago . His wife said she know the deal he made with me and I get first choice at it .So I'm waiting for things to settle down .
