I just bought a 1965 merc pick up five window......it was made in the Ontario plant in Oakville back in the day....this truck is in decent shape with a van roof cut and welded to cover the bed....this truck is powered by an oldsmobile 350 mounted to a toronado transmission.....the motor sits in the bed...and the dog house has been removed.....not sure if I am going to keep it this way.....a lot has gone into the conversion....or maybe return it to the original doghouse configuration.....has any one seen this truck before I think it originated in Orangeville Ontario..as soon as I can get pictures up I will........im not too sure why this truck was built this way....I assume to get more room in the cab....or maybe an attempt at a gasser type of truck.....at least the cab isn't butchered up at all...russ
