Maine summer house Empty Maine summer house

    Post by fmc56 Sat Dec 08, 2012 12:14 pm

It took me 8 years but I finished the second floor in my summer house near Bar Harbor Maine this year. I bought the cherry vanity but did the rest of the woodwork myself along with the electric, plumbing, drywall, paint, insulation, birch hardwood and tile floor.

Here's what I started with in July 2004. I removed the existing drywall and reframed some of the walls.

I still have to finish the second floor stairs and upgrade the kitchen but I am only there from April to November for a few weeks per month, probably take another 8 years to finish.
