I just picked up a 66 Super Van Camper Van. From what I have researched online they only made the Super Van Camper in 66 and there are only a few left. Mine needs a restore but is descent. It has a 240 and automatic. I am trying to figure out what its value is. Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on the model of camper, they made campers for most of the years. Campers back then were aftermarket add on's.

Its cool either way for me. I got it cuz i thought it was cool not cuz i thought i would make bank flipping it. the wife cant wait for it to be done so we dont have to share a tent with three boys.

Thats the way to look at it, none of us here will really never make money from our vans. We have them because we love them

Cool camper!! looks quite solid. And they beat a tent by a lot.. It looks like it would make a nice resto too...
Nice find.

Re: 66 Super Van Camper Van
working on getting the body work done so that i can paint it. seems like that is what is holding me up right now. I dont weld but the guy i was gonna have do it quoted me $1400 plus the cost of body panels. makes me want to learn. he wants to have the van for a month. I am adding a link to the rest of the van pictures, maybe someone can tell me if that sound high or low. I am thinking about keeping this as original as i can. i was looking at some of the advertising from the era for floor plan ideas. any thoughts on what is most functional.

Wow, you do have some rust repair to take car of there. Is there a lot of filler in the body or are most repairs going to be in the floors?

Re: 66 Super Van Camper Van
there isnt any filler anywhere. what you see is what i got. the worst of it is in the passenger rear quarter and rear door pillar. i am on the look out for panels. I know that i can get them from Macs
