    I was recently researching some parts for my van ('66 gmc handi-bus) and kept noticing that every site kept asking p25/2500 or p35/3500 van. Any info on this?
    Guessing mine is considered P25/2500? But have no clue to what these are. Every time I google em a bunch of random parts just come up on the image search

    the "p" designation is the body style, "p" is a parcel van
    or ups type van. The "G" is a van 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton vans
    like the ones that have the engine between the seats.
    the 25/2500 is a designation for 3/4 ton and the 35/3500
    is the designation for the 1 tons. not wonton.

    Thanks for the break down on that. Since mine is a G1000 would it use the same parts as on a p25/2500? Such as carb, brakes, etc...?

    You have a 1/2 ton van,,,,,Chevy calls them G10, GMC calls them G1000,,,they call the newer ones G1500,,,,,however,,,,,nobody cares about these vans so they don't keep good lists of parts for them,,,,,,just don't get no P10 parts, they are Step Vans,,,,,and any of that 20, 2500, 30, or 3500 series is the BIG stuff.....
