rims and tires !!!

without being 4x4 .... who has the biggest set of rims and tires on their van ?? im thinkin about 17s or 18s maybe ... ideas ... suggestions ... thanks guys .. ive got a 69 G10

There was an early chevy at the Natz that had a combination of 17 and 18's I think. It looked sweet! I must have noticed it on a walk around because I have no pics of it!

Beer =always wins!! yet most cameras have a strap to go on the wrist -beer dont -that way u can actually carry both!!

There are a few things to consider. Is your van lowered, or do you plan on lowering your van? Also, Are you opposed to modifying your wheel wells or inner lip (ie. tub/mini tub, flares...)? How low do you want to go and what are you using your van for?

I got good advice about wheels and stance. First pick the wheels you want then lower your vehicle and set the stance.

I'm running 17 inch wheels all the way around with 11s on the rear and 9.5s on the front. I plan on completely modifying my wheel wells so I can fit any size I want.

Your backspacing and ride height will determine what size wheel/tire combo you can fit. Don't be scared..cut it!

i do automotive upholstery for a living so my van will be used for a variety of things from picking up seats, materials, etc and in the spare time maybe even carrying a motorcycle or doubling as a sleeper while going to the drag strip... not even scared to cut anything ... lol and really lookin to run 17's all the way around ... just dont want anything too fat/wide ... you know ... no power steering can be a real b!@#ch ... lol. can you post or send me pix of ur ride with the 17's ? thanks

good luck with the engine build ... i want to build a sick 292 with a 194 head and about 11.5 to 1 comp. with a sweet cam and 4 barrel ... but until then ... ill just deal with the 230 thats in it .... lol ... so what back space do ur 17s have and what size tires are on them ?

i want the wheel wells to look full not like 4x4 with itty bitty 14's .... thanks again

I think Billski has 17 inch wheels on his silver first Gen. I saw a photo of it. Looks nice. His van is nice. I have seen it at Bakers before. G man would know

The backspacing is 5.5" on the 11's. I have Nitto 315/35 17 tires for them.

I love the idea of the high compression big inch six! Anything high compression with a big cam sounds rad!
