    Hi All,

I don't have a van, but I do have the urge to buy a toy so the research is on to decide what to get. I saw an early Chev. van parked a couple of months ago and thought it looked great. When I was in high school a friend's mom had an early Econoline and we had a lot of fun with that, too. So I've been doing some reading and looking to see if this is anything I'd be interested in. Jeez, these early vans seem hard to come by but they're sure less expensive than a '67 427 tri-power Vette. LOL

Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi.

    Hi Dan.

What part of Wisconsin are you around? You just missed the show in Elkhorn, WI.

Snoop around the site. There's no shortage of info here.

FYI - These babys are really old school with no A/C, PS or PB. The Econolines and 1st generation GMs only came with in-line 6s. The majority of earlies came with 3 speed manuals. The flip side is that they are a blast to drive!

    Welcome!
I'd imagine anything from the 60s is a bit tough to find in WI!
As said, look through all the posts here for more info on the various brands, tips on what to look for when shopping and what's for sale all over.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I'm not concerned by a 3 on the tree. I have plenty of time driving those. One reason I registered was to gain use the search function, primarily to answer the A/C question. Seems there is no easy solution. But then, summer in WI is different than summer in Tuscon.
