CALIFORNIAS PREMIER VAN EVENT DAZED AND CONFUSED!!

I just google mapped that address, and it sure looks like it's dry nothing just east of Barstow!
What's the story Baja? While it's closer to me than the other CA run posted, it sure doesn't look like it's the PREMIER event. The other one's been going 40 years!

Well, the event is held in the desert, but there's a nice sized man made lagoon with paddle boats. The Oasis is a nice lil campground. Like the flier above says, there are electrical hookups,water,bathroom and showers.
There are trees around the park,grass,and also a couple wooden gazebo type platforms to relax under.
We will have games, a nice raffle,dj on Fri. and the Kim Martin band on Sat. evening. Also will be a van show with trophies.
While it may be hot out there, I think you will enjoy yourself. Hope to see you there.

Wow, Brad you beat me to it, I was just about to post the same thing.yes, Newberry Springs is in the middle of nowhere, but the name Mojave Oasis indicates that it is indeed an Oasis, and it IS.
