My First Econoline is Coming Home! Empty My First Econoline is Coming Home!

Post by RipVanArkie Thu Jul 19, 2012 10:27 am

Hey Guys, thought I'd stop in and say hello! I have been lurking in the shadows for a while, never really been away. Glad to see so many of us are still here. Its the ones who stick with this that keep it going.

I am getting my furst Econoline back Saturday and wanted to shout it in the hills! This 62 regular van was the one that started it all for me when I was a teen. Dad had discouraged my buying it for years, but once I started driving my 64 ChevyVan, I thought back to the Econoline and it was still there!

It has been in the hands of Trace Essex for a while and we struck a deal and she is coming home!

I'll try to stop in more often and contribute when I can.

    Later,
    Rip

Besides, Rip owes me a truck. I let him drive my A100 and just look what he did. It was "MINT" too!!

I'll give credit where its due, Duane has helped keep the vannin spirit alive in me through all my troubles over the last few years. We've become family.

Nightmoves, you should follow Duane to the MidSouth Econoline meet this year, it would be great to have another Chevy there.

    Later,
