Finishline is new to this forum, and is currently finishing up the shop van. We have a 64 Chevy Van, and are in desperate need of window felts/channels. Has anyone used "Van In" products? If not does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks for your time.

Wookee (aka Joe Russin) can hook you up, he has a source at a window felt company that makes them for our vans as needed. His email address is: wookee10358@msn.com
Back in May I asked him about getting Felts for my van, this is what he had to say..
This is a 6 piece Kit.The kit gives you the fuzzes that runs up the latch side of the door to the division bar.Along with the wipers the are located at the bottom of the window opening.
This kit give you enough parts to do both cab doors.
The vent window rubbers/seal are available through Steel Rubber Company.
www.steelerubber.com
glove box liners are 20.00
shipping is ............10.00
fuzzy kits are........ 85.00
shipping is ............15.00
Due to the size and shape of these parts it is better to send them out
separate......

Please allow a 10 day turn around period from the time the funds are received.
Thank you for your interest in these parts.

Re: Window Felts and Channels
Welcome!
I'm in Bremerton occasionally; 4 Aces (?) Junkyard is tops! Say hi if you see us around town in Earl Grey here.
I am looking for window channels as well, for our drivers side. Maybe somebody knows which ones, if any, to order from:
http://stores.restorationspecialties.com/-strse-Window-Channel/Categories.bok
Are these any good or is custom the way to go?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Window Felts and Channels
Hey welcome to the forum Finishline!! I sent you a PM since you;re in the local area. I really want to network and organize with other local vintage vanners here in the Puget SOund area.
Wookee's (joe Russin) kits are the way to go for the window fuzzies. I have used them and I recommend it. Good quality and I think its a better price than resto specialties, or steele rubber and best of all you are supporting a grass-roots early chevy vanner home business.
Chroma66, your van is looking good!

Re: Window Felts and Channels
Kooky is right. I got my fuzzies from Wookee and they are top notch.
