What a wife!!! She helped install the windshield? She's definitely a keeper! Your van is looking happy to have been given this new life! Keep it going and soon you won't have to worry about the cops being around when you test drive! BooYah!

Worked on the grill and headlights, repaired wiring so the lights would work, and detailed the IP a bit.

That looks cool and will probably get the attention of someone driving too close from behind. Nice touch!

I used a P-van filler neck to finish up the fuel filler.

    And then-

Game called on account of rain. I whipped up a quick mirror, needs to be refined, but it's the general idea.

Congrats! I just heard the van say "Ahhhh, glad to be outside on the road again, where I belong!!!" Looks great. Those taillights match the side markers perfectly with the edge trim around them! Cool looking mirrors too! Where's the missing trim ring on the passengers wheel?

Trim ring has a broken tab, keeps popping off on corners. Looking for another, it's from the mid-70's Monte Carlo urethane center wheel.

Seat belts..... safety third, ya know...

Used the big green bracket theat came with the eBay HMMWV seat belt kit. I want the reel behind the interior panel..

    Resurrection! - Page 4 CAM00416_zpsf70776be

used the aluminum bracket to extend the buckle...

    Resurrection! - Page 4 CAM00417_zpse7356d64

Had to put the upper belt holder about 6" lower than the 'stock' location, it ran against the side of my neck.

    Resurrection! - Page 4 CAM00418_zps473a103e

    All in all, fairly easy.
