Local parts store shut down today

The carquest auto parts within 1 mile of my house shut down this week..Family owned, been in business since 1975..bought a lot of parts there... just bought a radiator for the truck this week, sad to see it go..kinda of a combination of the economy and lackluster whatever.. That sign was hand painted on that window in 1975, just took a shot of the Magic Truck for reference for the future..

Our little town is getting a new parts store built from an empty lot. We have an Autozone that is better than most, and a place that was a NAPA but went independent a couple years back.
We have had a slow but steady loss of other small businesses here, so a new one is good news.

Same here - mostly restauranys closing -yet some autoparts places just like there -economy in dumps .sad

I'm lucky we still have a few mom & pop places still here
