I got an email today from the new owner of Carl Owen's old Cascius Clay 67 window van that got wrecked. The new owner as Carl had mentioned is a woman around 40 that runs a body shop. She is needing a full rear corner and side panels to repair the damage. Im guessing Carl told her to contact me. To say she was very excited about her new van would be a huge understatement. She is eager to get it restored. Her husband is a mechanic, she runs a body shop and her brother does upholstery so she assures me it will be very nice when done. I'm pretty sure I can get her the needed panels. Getting them to Texas as a single unit will be the challenge though. She basically needs a complete left side from drivers door back, roof to rocker, including the rear corner. Thats a pretty big chunk.

Re: Carl's Old van
If that was cut away from the floor wouldn't it fit in the back of a 8 ft pickup? I picked up a whole roof from tom in a pickup!!!!!!!!! Sure would be cheaper Bob

Hey Tim, I did let Nikki know that you had the parts. She is super excited as you said. She plans to do it up good and I'm glad for her. I couldn't get past leaving as the 'Cassius Clay' van (before it got hit). I may not have the only old Econoline around here now, but at least I can say I owned both of them!

Re: Carl's Old van
I picked up an NOS full rear drivers side corner and an NOS upper window panel today for Nikki to repair her van. Both of these are very hard to come by panels and both are in cherry condition. The big upper driver's side window panel(9ft by 4ft) was still packed in the original Ford packaging, not a mark on it. Thats a needle in a haystack find for sure. I ve got a really good used lower panel as well to complete what she needs to repair all the damage. Just gotta get it all to Texas now somehow.

Re: Carl's Old van
Wow, NOS panels? Got any Dodge ones?
Best of luck to the new owner and to you Tim so those parts reach her.
She also asked me, but I'm sure that one I scalped last year is gone...

Good job Tim in finding the parts for Nikki. Where's the old Econoline Express when you need it?

Re: Carl's Old van
John, I knew about the NOS side panel for years but the NOS full rear corner was a pleasant surprise to find.
Carl,Vanner expressing something 9x4 ft always seems to be a problem. I did pull it off once though shipping a full rear 1/4 van to ST Louis for Joe Schott to fix his wrecked van.
