Your Van Got a Name ????

Van #1 is called "The Van"
Van #2 is called "The other Van"

Hahahaha! Just kidding!

1: My 65 Sportvan has picked up the name "The Surfer Van" from folks around the island and it stuck.

2: The 66 Panel van was named after my father's 66 Chevy panel from years ago "The Mean Green Machine" or as I'm now calling it just "Mean Green".

Well most of my friends and family who see it call it the "hippy van". Who knows...it might stick...lol. As for now it remains nameless. And I can't call it the "money pit" either cuz I haven't spent that much on it yet, and it would be to confusing in discussion cuz people would think I was talking about the house, camper, daily driver...lol.

Orange Rat is what I lean to. not ratty lookin' so much as it has parts from at least 16 different vehichles frankenstiened together in it.

Don't usually name my vehicles but the Super 8 gets referred to as the "Toasted Marshmallow" due to its patina of surface rust & crackled off-white paint. I noticed while banking on line that my wife named the account my van money is in "Toasted Marshmallow Account", have a feeling this name is going to stick.

I also don't name my vehicles.
The 69 is "the 108"
The 66 is "my van" or "the project"
the 02 is "dajiban"

"The Red Van" but to be honest it is more of a multi-primer color right now.

I have never named any of my vehicles, but all my computer files and invoice folder are titled "Vanny."

Kinda nick-named my 2nd gen 'Laundry Basket'.In honor to my dad's old Econo he had when I was a kid,that was a retired laundry service van.Both were/are that God-awful green.The 1st gen,simply '1st gen',that sits there and waits.

and this one is "S.O.B." because i want to put "Heir of the dog" on the sides and the album "Hair of the dog" across the back doors one day.

my 69 is "TIKITORTURE" my 66 doesnt have a name yet but is gonna be 70's beer themed,my 99 is the "DEEDOO VAN"cause my kids couldnt say Scooby Doo when the where way little but its also called the "VWPULLR" cause of the custom liscense plates.which goes with my trailer "VWHAULR".then my 6 wheeler is gonna be"SUPERNAUGHT",and my 75 is "THE BALL ROOM"

maryjane. my wife picked it and evan though i didnt really like it, it fits the van. my end goal is to have a hippy van straight out of the '60's. far from stock, but built like it would of been if it was done back then.

Mary Jane got passed around pretty good in the '60's,70's,80's......
Very fitting name.

My Kids call it the boogie van. Not sure why but it stuck.
