I had one made at Pegasus Auto Racing
link
They custom make them to your specs and include different end fittings, mine cost me about $80 bucks. The end fittings are on a different page, they make a set screw fitting that works great for hooking to the pedal linkage, I used a "ball and socket" quick disconnect for the card side.

I forget what lenght I used but I used a Go-Kart cable from here, I had to do some fabbing to make it work. http://www.gokartsupply.com/thcable.htm
I also found these which are a little more cost friendly. http://www.mfgsupply.com/gomini/gominicontrols/gominithrottlecables.html Good Luck

thanks Dix!
I actually got a print catalog from Pegasus, they have some pretty good stuff. One other thing they have that I'm going to use in the future is "Rivet and Insert Nuts"
link
They will come in real handy for bolting stuff down to the sheet metal in the van. Might have to use a 1/8' metal backing plate in some cases for strength but they are still very useful.

Cable I got off of Ebay looks like the broken one, but is way too short.
Having one made made up by Pegasus Auto Racing. Ordered it this AM with a couple ends and just got notice that it's being shipped.
We'll see if I got the dimensions correct. I'll get pics when I attempt to install it.
Thanks for the link slowflapper.

hey glad it was useful, let us know how the cable works out for you.
here's the specs from when I ordered my cable, I made it long since it comes up firewall on the drivers side and connects to the carb from the back.
Custom Throttle Cable with One 10/32 Stud End
Jacket Length: 84 (inches) Cable Length: 120 (inches) Approx. travel when straight is: 33.2 inches.
1270-INCH
Quick Release Stud Type Ball Joint with 10-32 Threads
this is for the throttle pedal end, I ordered the inside cable long and cut it off where I needed it and added the "yoke fitting".
1273 10-32 Forged Yoke & Pin Assembly
1579-105 Uni-Link Clamp-On Throttle Cable Stud End, 10-32
AN316-3-R Jam Nut, 10-32 Right Hand (AN315)

Just opened the box. I ordered the cable 88" long with the jacket allowing 2" of travel (like the existing one). Open the dog house and it looks like the Edelbrock 4 barrel needs a little longer travel to fully open. Oops.
