Time to let go of my baby, a 1964 Chevrolet panel van. It is fully insulated, paneled and then carpeted. It has a 350 engine and an automatic TH350 transmission. It has a B&M QuickSilver floor shifter mounted on an air tunnel/console. Very comfortable Chevy Celebrity reclining seats and over-the-should seat belts. Brand new Summit Racing Aluminum radiator, White faced gauges, New brakes shoes, drums turned, brake lines and hoses (hard and soft), and a new dual master cylinder and wheel cylinders and wheel bearings. Frenched license plates and taillights. All locks and ignition have been keyed to 'one key opens all'. Overhead console with hidden LED lights. Tons of hidden storage areas in the back. Comes with spare tire and jack. 1978 Corvette aluminum slotted wheels and like new BFG T/A Radials, 235/60-15. My reasoning for selling is I have too many toys and something has got to go, plus I just bought another 60s van. It has been hard for me to make up my mind to sell my van and it won't take much convincing for me to keep it. This van rides extremely smooth and is a blast to drive. Hard to drive anywhere quick, everyone wants to tell you stories about when they were young, or that their Dad had one when they were little and would take them to a 3 day Pop festivals. You really need to see it to appreciate it.. But it is ready for a road trip or a camping trip. Once you get an early van, you will be hooked for life. The price is firm, an offer of anything less will help me decide to keep it. Antique Insurance is really cheap through Haggerty.
