So I was in the Lowes parking lot and someone approached me diggin the van. He asked if I was selling it and I said if the numbers right I guess I would consider. Well I gave him the number and I think he wants it but I just don't know if I can part with it. SOOOOO much work but I have got my list of what I should do different the next time around. What do you guys think??

Everything is bought and sold with time + money.
If you get enough money, will you also have the time to do it all over again?

My wife had a 91 mustang that had alot of work done to it and we had/have videos of it on Youtube. We had a guy ask if it was for sale, we said not really. Few days later he asked again and asked for the amount i wanted. I gave him a stoopid price and he was at my house with cash the next weekend. It was just unreal.

Here is a clip of it.

I miss it too.... I went from that to my slant6 van scratch

The only good thing about selling something is that if you want, you can do things different next time. I don't care how well you built it the first time, you can always do better. But at the same time the vans are getting hard to find.

I was talking to a guy once about a Chevelle he once had. It was in body shop jail and he gets the call that someone stole it. Got a good size check from the insurance company which eased the pain. Bitch is, the money is no longer in the bank, he doesn't exactly know what they spent the money on and still really misses his sweet ride.

    VH-
Take it as a huge compliment and that's all.
There is an intrinsic value owning and working
on your van. Use logic, if you are only hurting
for the money would you ever part with your van.

    George

P.S. I had someone offer me 16 grand for one of my
Falcon's (waayy over it's value) and I politely turned
it down. No regrets, but makes a good story when
I have it out! ha ha.

I had a guy offer my $50,000.00 for Vanishing Breed. I refused and a couple of weeks later he sent me a check for $50,000.00 anyway so I told him again that it was not for sale. I kept the check and had him cancel it. I still have the check in my Vanishing Breed scrapbook.

It was tough but I also had a Japanese broker tell me that he had a buyer in Japan that wanted it and that he could get me $86,000.00 for it but he wanted a 25% finders fee so I said no. Actually I couldn't bare knowing my van was in another country.
