I'm wondering whether the canister on the fuel pump has a filter in it or is it just a reservoir for gas? I don't really want take apart the one on my window van as it is running great & I have it up for sale. The Super 8 is an hour away & I would like to go prepared with a new filter if there's one in there.

Re: Fuel pump ?
Hey Linoman,
The 'can' that is physically attached to the pump
body is a filter. They are available and the
filter elements are available too if you need to
replace...

Re: Fuel pump ?
Thanks SDE ~ I'll make sure to pick up a filter for it & one for the carb before I head back to the project. I just got the fuel tank back from the radiator shop all cleaned inside & out, so with new filters I shouldn't have any sediment or old gas issues when I fire it up.
