I've never quite understood why you are only allowed to like one make of car. Is it just an American thing...?
I love Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers etc. as well as Aston Martins, AC Cobras, 60s Ferraris

It's not like we only are allowed to like one make. All it is for me is a preference. I love exactly the same cars you listed as a matter of fact! Not every one, they have to catch my eye, or just be fast around the track!!
I'm just a Chevy guy at heart!
I love brunettes, but that doesn't mean I'll pass up a hot blonde or red head just because her hair is the wrong color!

Sy, I agree. It's just the overall "if I have to pick one" and a styling preference. It seems the Chevy's just have a style that grabs me. GTO's are built, but I never cared for the styling. Same for the early Mustangs. Like, but don't love the look. The Boss's or Mach's are another story..Vettes just have the steamlined look, not just a box. I love vintage Jags, Astons, Porshes, etc.
Curious thing is that while I always liked classics, I always thought my dream car would be a Porshe, Ferrari, etc. These days, some American muscle would be my choice.

Re: todays random image (part #4)
There was a jet black 1978 for sale years ago at a stealership I wanted so bad. Loved those big fender in the front! I like the old 60s Rays but the late 70s versions were my favorite. They ruined them in the 80s and 90s IMO.
The insurance was more than the car payment would have been for a 20 year old so I settled on a 1982 Camaro that my dad and I put a 327 in.
And the comment above is about the guys that go out and buy new ones, not someone that has a Vintage. A lot different kind of person. There are people that buy Vettes just to say they have one, kind of like a DR or Lawyer that has a Harley and the old timers scoff at them cause most likely they were the same guys turning their nose up at Vintage bikers in the 60s.
I am a Chevy guy but I prefer a 60s fast back Mustang body style to the 60s Vettes.
