I'm having a hard time visualizing this attached to a van. Does this go on the outside above the windshield? How does it attach?

hope whoever gets it has the foresight to make a mold! Wish I could get in on this, and I would probably ship it to Matchstick who is making the Chevy gullwings!

I can't find any pictures anywhere with this installed on an Econo. Does anyone else have any other info? Was this some aftermarket accessory at the time?
