Has anyone squeezed anything bigger than a 302ci in an Early E? I've got a line on a free, running, road worthy 352ci FE motor and trans from a '64 Galaxie. Any idea what it would take to make this work in my '61? Any photos or links of anything similar? Thanks in advance

I am thinking an FE would be very cool in a econoline. These things are so user friendly for modification there's really no limits to what you can put into them. would take some work but very doable. Interesting choice for sure.

Re: 352ci in an Econoline?
The main reason I'm considering the conversion is because the motor and trans are free! It is currently in a solid running car that is well cared for so, I know it's a solid foundation I won't have to sink money into before I get it into the van. Which means more money and time for the install.
I want to see some examples of motor conversions/installs... Post some pics! Thanks.

with a welder, some scrap steel and a few jack stands you can put any motor/tranny combo in there you want. just got to hold the thing off the ground while you fit it.
