Yes lots of people are also at VCVC.org.

I don't understand why you are asking this?
Why don't you check over there?
Its not like Boston vs the Canucks.
    Its free and easy.

I was under the impression you have to pay and sign up before you navigate through that site.

    Not true?

It took a while to get myself registered, but at the time they were transitioning to a different site and I could only use the old one. According to their sign-up page they require members to pay $12 a year for membership.

    Something like that..

The Vintage-Vans site seems more in tune with working on them, so I'm happy with this one. If there's not much going on here sometimes I'll take a look at VCVC, but I'm not really active there. Actually I don't even remember my login.

both sites are nice, but i like it here best. got a warm welcome and lots of help.i wouldnt discredit vcvc in any way, but i am a newbee lurking in the shadows over there, and feel like a regular here. several members use both and no competition like some car forums.

Someone sent me this thread, so I felt I should stop in and clarify a couple things...

Anyone can join the VCVC community forums for free. Only those interested in club membership pay dues to the club. I understand that this may not be immediately clear, so I'm happy to make the clarification.

That link to VCVC2 is not the Vintage Chevy Van Club site. It was set up years ago by members in order to post photos before we had a user-driven gallery. It is no longer active and used primarily as photo reference. The VCVC site can be found at vcvc.org or vintagechevyvanclub.com

Stop on by and say hi...

VV and VCVC are both great resources for the Chevy/GMC owners, but would like to encourage our Econoline & A100 owners about the other van sites that are just for your models they also are great resources for you and your van. The true goal for all these sites is to put these great early vans on or keep them on the road. Even Vannin.com which is for all models is a great site for early owners. Many of there member might not have a early now , but have had them in the past. Like Vanish said never seen a Us vs Them on Vanning sites

This is the =BEST SITE= Both are good -i even do the old econolines group- just for some ideas- yet as just sold my 61 econo - ill likely leave it- one good thing about their site - seems as they constantly are searching everywhere for econos & patys by many members & as I get emails on what theyve found- sometimes ill post those parts here in the econo section for those members to check out=latest one was on the rebuilt steering boxes available=Happy vanning = Again = This is the Site!!
