Yes, I named my van the "Beaver Wagon." Sorry if some of you chaps find that distasteful. What can I say? I'm a classy guy!
Here are my design ideas from a few months ago. It has a long way to go to get there but some of the features are an independent front suspension with power steering and disc brakes, air bag suspension and a 9" Ford style rear end, mini tubbed. All will be mounted to a custom tubular chassis, and then the body mounted back to the frame. I have an LS1 that I had built for the van. It should put out about 450hp to the rear wheels when tuned and I plan on installing a vintage air unit in it to keep it cool in the Texas heat.
Some of you will probably hate the color, the style etc. but this is basically pretty close to what I should end up with. Color is hard to reproduce with the computer though. I can post some of the rear renderings at another date. The theme of the van is blending late 60's Camaro (You'll notice the cutouts in the front, the mirrors etc.) with a modern suspension, tires, brakes and motor that can stop and go closer to modern vehicle.
I hope you like the renderings.
