I am so jacked up, I spent alot of time making these huge wheels fit this little truck but it looks awesome..
I found them on craigslist locally.. 17x11 rear 17x7 front ...American Racing Torque Thrust II... This truck looks alot faster than it is!!!!!!

I had to put longer studs in the front hubs and use 3/4" spacers to get the clearance to keep the tires off the shocks

I put air shocks on the back..thanks to Mike Cook for the part # Monroe Max Air, note the made in USA!!!! Wheels new - Got my new wheels on! Pic heavy Shock_10

Air shocks next to shocks that I just took off ...

Had to use 2" spacer/adapters on the back

Overall the final result was worth it.. I was wondering as I went through the process of getting them to fit.. the only thing that rubs is the left front tire will rub the drag link on a extreme right turn.. I can live with that.

Im not really hungry for attention but Ive drove this thing around the neighborhood a couple of times and with these wheels on it it really turns a lot of heads!

My 14X6 TQ's with 205/70/14's rub the drag link on a right turn too! You got a lot more tire than me. Looking really good. I'm glad to see your pickup on the forum. Keep us posted on it's progress.

Lookin=GREAT!! A small word of caution=from experience- I had a car with air shocks & wide tires- yet all fit really close to inner fenderwell when down. I ran many years like this -yet 1 day on interstate- i had an airline break and the tires would scrape the fender wells when going thru slight corners & changing lanes. I repaired it on the highway & redid all lines with new ones later. I now always carry a new set of lines & all parts to repair along with a small portable air-compressor. Just in case?? I also do carry some tire plugs & tools & sealer for a flat- saved many a motorist & myself many times with that. Happy Vannin!!

I agree the wheels look great but this post is in the wrong category(E parts for sale). Can a mod please move it? That looks like a pretty solid truck overall too.

Very cool wheels. I am thinking about doing something similar, although i hope to buy the correct offset and backspace so hopefully i won't need any spacers....

Thanks fellas, I did mess up and post it in the wrong forum , I asked chebby to move it to the general board.

The tires on the rear are 315/35/17 ... Front are 245/45/17...

I am going to install a small block between the spring and axle to avoid any air shock mishap/clearance issues.

And if I were buying new wheels I would definitely try and get the right offset/ backspacing to avoid all that extra aggravation and expense of spacers and stuff. I just bought these so cheap it was worth it to make em fit.
