Side markers on later A van/PU

I know there were markers on the last couple years. How about pictures so we can all have a reference.
Also, if these were shared with any other trucks or cars, it would be nice to know so we can spot them during our hunting..
None that I've seen for 1964 to 1968.
My 69 does not have them, and the doors look original.
I think it was supposed to have the round reflector.

Then the 1970 had a rectangle one...

Dont have photos But 1970 was the only year for rectangle marker lights/reflectors. 1968/69 had round reflectors single screw in the center attaches it to the body. 1964/67 were naked! Very early B vans shared the rectangle marker lights of the 70 .

Just in the front or did they have rear side too?
I ask because I see them on the 2 photos I grabbed.
The 69 looks like they are not the stock ones...

the 69 you show in the top photo look to be stock to me. both 68 & 69 had them front and back. what i think we see in the photo is the dirt getting behind the reflector. being only 1 screw in the center to hold it on. that sure is a nice fargo pic you have.

68/9 had both front and rear reflectors. That blue pannel looks to have Mopar B-body (car) markers.

are you looking to put them on?? you can find self stick one's instead of drilling the hole in.

No, I think the round ones look pretty darn cheap. I doubt they would prevent an accident either. If you can't see a barn (108) in front of you, a little reflection is't going to make a difference!!!!
I just wanted to start a thread on what these had so others could confirm and if someone wanted them they had info and maybe a source for them.

on my 67 a100 it has the drilled in reflectors, but my 68 a108 doesnt have anything, but then my 70 a100 has the rectangular ones on it.

68-69 had round reflectors. yellow on the front and red on the rear. about 1 3/4 inch to 2 in dia. the 70 had the rectangle version and it was used on b-series vans for about 2 years and some 1/2 tons. also used at least one year on big horn trucks but finding a big horn highway tractor might be a bit of a stretch. there was a 71 van for sale posted under early enough and you can see them there.

In 1967 the us goverment mandated that all cars/truucks had a reflector or light on all 4 corners by 1968 like the 68 road runner had 4 small lights . by 1970 they had to be reflective lights so the bullit type lights on the road runner were out. as the years went on when the door was open the inside of the door had to have a reflector on it. by 1977 the parking lights / turn signels started rounding the corners of the cars & trucks .So the corner lighting started to disapear.on my 77 dodge van i shaved the side markers. some inspection stations would not inspecte it. @ one car show i lost points because the judge was a licensed auto inspector.but I still won the show.

if yer gonna put the late marker lights on yer gonna want to hunt down some of the black plastic spacers between the body and the base of the marker.yeah 71 and maybe some early 72 B-Vans have the markers with the removeable lenses too.But they dont have the plastic spacers.only 1970 A's have the spacers.I have a 69 too and thts a custom sportsman and it has the chrome around the side reflectors like the one in your pics.

was the 70 just a reflector or was there a light inside??my 73 b-200van had a light in the same looking reflector that is on the 70 pick up @ the biginning of these post.

jump all over me but i never saw an original one that was backlit on an a-series van UNLESS they were changed

can I assume you never owned a 70?Only the first half of 1970 was A vans and had these markers and as far as I know none of the earlier style ones lit up.
