200 acre junkyard in ri

I don't know if anyone on here's seen heard or mentioned this on here before,but in search of a glovebox for my dad's mustang i found this place,i'm including a link to the site of pictures,they seem to have alot alot of chrysler products,but I did notice quite a few econolines,not sure about others,apparently a 70 year old gentlemen owns it : https://s214.photobucket.com/albums/cc114/bkl89/

several people say the guy is picky as to who he'll even show around,i personally have not been there yet,but plan to next month hopefully because it looks simply amazing,supposedly the town told the guy to crush everything but i've seen many people saying they've talked to him and it isn't true,i've been told he goes by jr, the address is : 60 weaver hill road

This has been posted all over. From what I've read, it's sorta true, but the condition of the parts, the prices and the owner's attitude are the reasons it is not worth the effort. Of course, this is all on heresay and I'm all the way across the country from there.

I have been there many times, about 10 mioles south of me right off I-95. The owner is Junior Carpenter and he is actually a nice guy. Over the years so many people have stolen and destoyed so many of the cars and parts he is hesitant to let people walk around. Most of the Econolines are stripped of all the good parts but there are a few I haven't checked yet. His prices are all over the place. He charged me $30.00 for a perfect set of 64 Econoline small mirrors but wanted $250.00 for a broken Maverick spoiler. All of the bodies are shot, floor pans are rusted through but good glass, trim and some mechanical parts are still there. There are a few other yards nearby in MA, NH, CT and Maine. Meilke's Auto Parts in Sheffeild MA , Bernardston Auto Wrecking in Bernardston MA, Blanchard's in Wilton NH, Kleeman's in Norwich CT and Ayotte's in Oxford Maine all have Econolines, Chevies and Dodges. Here's some links to photos of them. They all have Dodge and Chevy vans too. Meilke's even has Dodge, Chevy and Ford no doors.
