    Oldsmobubble,
New ones are rarer than hens teeth. I have one but it and the sending unit are spoken for if its good. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Your bet bet is to find a fair used on and have it acid dipped and sealed. Well cheaper anyway. But nothing on hand, sorry.

    Dan

You might want to contact Dave (Owner) at Boyd Welding if you want new. They have a 20 Gal Belly Tank that they can modify to fit our vans.

Custom Auto Sound is the way to go. They aren't exact reproduction radios, but rather a modern stereo with USB and RCA connections for changers and iPods. They look natural and fit perfect. $240 for the one in my '68.

Thanks Dan. I'll check out boyds. I lived in Jax in 1980 for a year. I drive through there on my way to the NC home. I have a building lot on Lake George in the Ocala Nat forest, you might be interested in. I got a good deal on a waterfront home here in St. Pete, so I don't need two. lol

Bill that solution is on the table. I've got a very good welder. How did you handle the twist lock hole for the sending unit?
