Getting ready to put my system in my van and need some ideas on what to use to protect the speaker wire between the pillar and the door. Thanks

I am liking the spring set up on the rear doors of our vans,,,,,the spring is connected to the post,,,,,the door slides onto it with the license plate light wires protected. Or you use this plastic wiring loom wrap over the wires,,,,,,you could use a long spring or this spring is a tool for bending tubing.

Take a look at a Street Rodder mag. and new cars. Lots of ideas from simple to complex, pennies to a whole lotta cash.
It might be a good idea to lurk on a couple car stereo installer's forums for real pro feedback on some of the products, too.

That picture is a tool,,,,,,you put copper tubing in it and it keeps the tubing from kinking,,,,,,its a tubing bender,,,,,,HOWEVER,,,,,,,its the same thing as what is used on my van,,,,,,So I am thinking Lowes or Home Depot,,,,,,or Napa,,,,,,,or you want a long 3/8" or 1/2" pull spring,,,,,,cut the hooks off the ends of it,,,,or a spring that pulls a wooden screen door shut,,,,,,or a spring that takes the place of curtain rods,,,,,,,people also use flexible electrical conduit,,,,,the hole in my door post is smaller than the spring so the spring is like threaded into that hole,,,,,,,the door hole is bigger,,,,,,the spring slides easily into the door as it closes so the wires don't get squashed in the jamb,,,,,,you could also use rubber fuel line to take the place of that spring,,,,,the whole plan is to have some slack inside the door so that the only movement of those wires takes place inside the door, between the spring and speaker.....
