Re: Another 65
Been wanting to post these pics of some progress over summer. After seeing (& reading) Digs build,I thought I wanted to try more upholstery(did my 68 dash pad) & I "think" the 65 was all done like the front door pic on the inside??? And I traded for the new stuff so it was almost free, not the real color I wanted but its Cheep.Thats the only way I can do stuff. Hey G-man see the sticker you gave me at Nats on door

Not alot of progress lately, trying to get 68 running right to put in storage, but did get some "out of driveway" shots of 65 & got plywood for interior.
Ken,early Chevy vans got drain holes in bottom of there door. I guess for condensation

Re: Another 65
rain will enter the doors from glass areas-vent holes in bottom of all doors are for that -yet usually never kept open for that purpose-have a look -theyre small & elongated.

Re: Another 65
No real progress, just keeping the snow from caving the tent in on top of the van
Tent does keep most of the snow & rain off it. Much better than the life it had before

Re: Another 65
With as much snow as we have been having lately, that has to be a lot of work keeping the snow off. It definitely has a better life now!
Wish I wouldn't have been sleeping all day, it was finally warm enough to actually get something done in the shop!

Re: Another 65
I work a four on, four off rotating schedule, swing day shift to night shift weekly. Lately the overtime has been rough, working six night shifts in a row, 12 hour days. Doesn't leave much time for van progress. Lol

Jar The arms are stock(cheepes mirror) with square mirror heads
Got a little more done on the int of the 65 between snow & rain storms. Next on to back doors. Cut panels in driveway then do upholstery on my kitchen floor.
