I had inquired about it when it arived in impound and was told it had to sit for three weeks before going out to be picked.

i found this old Dodge here in town. The owner would't sell it as he wanted to restore it. I went by his house this past weekend and the house and everything is gone. Usually that means the city took over the land and site cleared it. Something must have happened to the old man and back taxes usually put the house in a lein situation. The city will take over and level the lot and scrap everything. Hate to see that happen but it does everyday here. The van wasn't much but old Dodges are hard to find here. Hate to see one go this way. I've been checking the city's inpound yards to see if it might have been saved but thats a long shot. That's mostly police seized and not tax assesor stuff.

that sucks @$$, I live in St. Pete and need a fricken gas tank. There are quite a few junk yards down here, have you talked to all of them? You can save me some time, as I know that vehicles this old aren't too common in junk yards. They want late models to sell parts to the insurance companies. It's not llke it was in the '70's.
