The back door latch aint got no inside handles,,,,and that side one is from a Sportvan because it has the extra lever for the inside push button

The major difference is the shaft that the inside door handle goes on,,,,,,Is it the smaller fine spline 1st Gen that uses a set screw to hold it on or is it the bigger courser spline 2nd Gen that has a groove for the horseshoe clip to hold the handle on? And then the rear door latch does not have an inside handle or shaft,,,,,you are trapped inside,,,,so that 1st Gen you show is for the rear door,,,,only the outside handle goes into it, you find them on the rear doors,,,,that one you call a 2nd gen, also has the outside handle going into it but it also has a provision for an inside handle and you find them on a side door....they probably fit either door.......
