Thanks for telling us about the event. Next time I’ll try to bring some family members to partake in all the festivities.

Man there were some wicked cool vans there including the monster van (with dual axles), and the Wine & Roses van. Got my first trophy – COOL.

Nice of you to place the event near an old school auto parts store. lol

Yeah Chris, I took several pictures. Now I have to get them off the chip to the 'puter and onto the site. Never did anything like that before, so I've got to find the cable, get motivated, and get my butt in gear on that.

Chris, if you see him in the nearer future, please tell Taz I did indeed have a great time .

We had just gotten the other early Dodge started (bad connection at the starter relay which had been relocated to a hard to reach area) when Taz prodded me to get my A in line even though the judging had already started down there. My response - "You want to judge THAT?!" Ended up taking 3rd place in the Early class by default. But hey, a trophy's a trophy right?

Taz and those guys (and gals) are 'good people'.

It was cool digging into an another early's electrical and seeing how they did things a couple years latter. Here I brought my test light, multi-meter, and jumpers in case MY van had issues. Spent another couple hours tracing electrical feeds for tail-lights, replacing switches, etc. I have a feeling my van's not the only one to get an electrical enema this winter.

Was that the Black one with the Red interior or the Dark Blue one with the scissor doors, custom (fiberglass?) dash, etc. aka "The Palace".

May it was. Only got a few pictures and I was rather busy talking to people about my van... The Black one was sweet too. Just a bench seat in the back and a couple smaller RV windows in the rear quarters.

I love em all! The dash / doghouse / grille on "The Palace" are awesome! Lambo doors are cool, but the other stuff do it for me!
