Morning,
I took the Early and the family to the 43rd Annual Moonshine Festival (and Car Show) in Dawsonville, GA. yesterday. It's a big festival, North GA has a big history in moonshine making/running and quite a lot of the NASCAR history comes from there. The car show is held at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Museum.
There were loads of cars there (we were number 509 to register) and we were the only van of any type (just like last year). I just uploaded a 104 picts to a gallery you can see here, I'll link some for you but not all, click over if you like .
The van was a crowd pleaser, I saw it bring a lot of grins from checking it out, I'm sure it will be a contender when the body work and inside is done.
Rat Fink:
The Boogey Van:
Gull Wing Caddy?
Baby Blue:
And Papa Smurf under the hood:
Nice pen stripping on this one:
the hood:
Rust Rod (pressure cooker breather, Jack overflow bottle, Natty Light hood decor)
Put some south in Yo Mouth (old race car sponsor):
Faux 'shine
Old Mercury/Buick wagon?:
Old Chevy:
