If that was his Porsche, it was named lil bastard. But I doesn't look like a Porsche engine, unless somebody loaded one in the trunk (rear engine)

I guessing it's a Jaguar D type. Google says it's a 1957 Jaguar D Type XKSS (very rare).

In my opinion, the most beautiful car ever built! It's a 1957 Jaguar XKSS, which was a road-going version of the Jaguar D-Type racing car. Sixteen were built, twelve remain.

As a side note, I personally think that the Mopar Rallye wheel is a more modern interpetation of the D-type wheel. The half holes are reflected in the trim ring, making them appear to be full holes.
