The car in Bullitt was a '68 Mustang, but that is Steve McQueen in the pic!

"Name this car (I hope it's not too easy!)"
Porsche 550 Spyder
(I may have jumped the gun. The wheels look similar but I guess that's an engine he's working on, and if so I am sadly mistaken!)

If that was his Porsche, it was named lil bastard. But I doesn't look like a Porsche engine, unless somebody loaded one in the trunk (rear engine)

Good guesses! Hywaychild is on the right track!
It's Steve McQueen in the pic. James Dean was killed driving his Porsche 550 Spyder "Little Bastard" enroute to a road race in Salinas CA.

RE: Today's Random Image (part 2)
I guessing it's a Jaguar D type. Google says it's a 1957 Jaguar D Type XKSS (very rare).

Steve the man is working on his Jaguar XKSS.

No, I didn't have to look it up. I knew the car, just had to find good proof for you guys!
EDIT, I see that others have already ID'ed it on this page.
As a side note, I personally think that the Mopar Rallye wheel is a more modern interpetation of the D-type wheel. The half holes are reflected in the trim ring, making them appear to be full holes.
